How Can We Help?

We are excited to announce that we will be partnering with North Carolina Baptists on Mission for our Disaster Response efforts.

Immediate Need for Volunteers and Supplies

Thank you so much for your generosity in helping our WNC neighbors. We estimate that well over $10,000.00 worth of relief items have been donated through our members and community connections.

Saturday, November 23rd, several church members took a large load to our contact in Burnsville. As always, they asked our contact what the urgent needs were. Our contact identified several urgently needed items for those still living in their cars and in tents.

Those items are:

1. Kitchen Sets

2. Bath Sets

3. Wash Tubs

4. Picnic Tables

5. Lumber

6. Nails

7. Hammers

8. Heavy Plastic Rolls

9. Plastic Crates

We are going to do our best to gather a load of these items to take sometime before Christmas. Please, speak with your Sunday School class or Small Group about donating these items. Some of these things like Kitchen Sets and Bath Sets will be marked down for Black Friday shopping as well.

Please, bring these supplies to the Old Fellowship Hall. If no one is here to open the doors, please leave your items on the loading dock, and we will put them up for you.

There is a big need for indoor propane heaters and beds in a box. Fortunately, you can purchase these items on Amazon and have them sent directly to our Global Methodist Ministry Partner in Clyde, who will distribute them.

Here are the recommended items on Amazon:
